Mahipal did not get much chance in Rajasthan Royals and was not utilized till his full potential. He only played 11 matches for Rajasthan Royals in the span of 4 years.

He only managed to score 181 runs in these years for Rajasthan. His potential was not utilized fully by the Rajasthan Royals and then was later brought by Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2022.

In Bangalore too he, missed most of the matches but did not fail to make an impact on the matches he got a chance to play. He played a very crucial role in Bangalore’s win against Chennai Super Kings and in the must-win match against Lucknow Super Giants. Mahipal only played 7 matches for Bangalore and batted in only 5 innings. He managed to score 86 runs for the team.
